Loving is lying
To say "I love you" is to have lied
For what is the essence of I or you or love
That we audaciously string them all together
Like a bunch of roses with thorns
And present them to our beloved
Loving someone isn't loving at all,
It is merely a request to be loved back
And those few among us are lucky
To have (n)ever received a response
And maybe actually loved in the process
For what is the essence of I or you or love
That we audaciously string them all together
Like a bunch of roses with thorns
And present them to our beloved
Loving someone isn't loving at all,
It is merely a request to be loved back
And those few among us are lucky
To have (n)ever received a response
And maybe actually loved in the process
