From A to B.

With the beginning of every morning, millions of people around the world are in a rush to get somewhere. To be in time for work, drop kids at school or even to catch a movie. Everybody wakes up to do something, important, unimportant or mundane. By the end of which, all they could ask for, is to shove some dinner down their throats, hurry to bed and call it a day. On repeat.

Ever wondered about the in-between's?
About where, at a particular instant on a given day while you were probably reading a comic, someone was having the best moment of  life while someone else's dreams were being crushed?
You were probably parked alongside their car at a red signal and casually smiled at them, when even they didn't know, on that very day, their life was about to change, maybe forever.

Similarly, ever wondered about the what-if's?
What if, god forbid, your journey that morning had not been as safe, while you had just taken it for granted? As you casually drove to work, what if someone lost attention on the road for a couple of seconds or control of the wheel and you would have been on the receiving end? Do those dead-lines or contracts matter anymore?

Ever wondered about your whereabouts?
When you went to hospital to get that anti-tetanus injection, a proud mother was bringing a life into this world while a wife was receiving news that would shatter her soul. When you walked into a clothing store, an obese kid was probably fighting tears to fit into a flattering outfit while a newly-wed bride was shopping for her honey moon. When you were at the ATM to withdraw cash, the guy behind you was probably getting money to pay his son's school fees or going to lose it over gambling.

Maybe it really isn't about the bigger picture. Maybe it's just about right now. To stop and fill your lungs with air, to hug your partner and tell them you love them, to call your parents and tell them how much you appreciate them, to actually taste the food you eat, to enjoy every single word of every sentence in that book, to get drunk over music, to go buy yourself that fancy thing you've been putting off, to confess your love for someone, to lok at the world and her people around you, to learn and experience with so much zest that it almost brings a tear to your eye.

Different people want different things from life. Some want perfection, the best their lives can be, to be the best version of themselves, and work on end to get there. Some want fun, memories and adventure. Some people are just meant for greatness. And some, just to live life, like it has to be. And how is that? I'll tell you once I find out.

Is there a point to all this speculation? Maybe not. I'm just a teenager, what do I know?
