Moonbeam skies
Does the moon look different
When you look at it from a different window?
Half a decade gone, and in another place
The clouds still make my favorite shapes
1111, 1 - 1 - 1
Numbers stand close to seem bigger than they are
But am I searching for the same things
Between the arrangement of stars?
I walk down roads with ancient trees
Looking for blue dragonflies
To collect in a jar with memories
But this time I won't leave them behind
I'll pin them on my lapel
And re-tell their glory stories
Of when they got lost at the horizon
Between the sun and the seas
I'll sing along with hummingbirds
It's still a song if nobody hears
About glistening wings and diamond eyes
They've arrived home, beneath moonbeam skies
