Milk

"I hate milk!"
Is a thing I say
atleast five times everyday
Early morning before school
My dad made me chug
A mug full of milk, yuck
"Uhhh, I hate it"
I would yell
Run off to school now
I'd wait for him to tell
My mum would treat me
With a bit of her fancy tea
The stuff of adults and victors
If I finished my milk fuss-free
And I grew up to fake
Lactose intolerence
To steer clear of a drink
With milk
I grew up some more
With hangovers to face
Of too much life, and too little sleep
Or too little life
"The regular?", he asks with an everyday smile
I'd actually like a tall glass of milk, please?
