Unstructred ballad on coffee

Isn't it but a dance
When the swirl of bitter black
Meets the unsweetened white
Like the intense iris floating
On the cream of the eye
Who drinks for taste?
Is a common theme for beverage
Sustenance doesn't depend on it
Can't say about life
You and me, we're coffee
Leaving crescent moons
Over half finished doodles
Sometimes finished too soon
Irish on lonely nights
A blame for the jitters
Or butterflies if I may
Art is coffee
As is clicking of laptop keys
Mid-afternoon kisses
And celebratory wedding breath
Traditions and stories lie
In this little seed
